Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan
(NYKS) is an autonomous body of the Ministry of Youth Affairs &
Sports, Government of India. Applications are invited from suitable
candidates for filling up of following regular vacancies. (Vacancies are
provisional & may increase or decrease depending upon actual)
1. Assistant Director/District Youth Coordinator
No of posts: 160
Age: 28 years or below as on 1.1.2019
Educational Qualification: Essential: Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent
Desirable:
Three years experience in Youth activities / Rural Development/ other
social sectors including voluntary work in a reputed organization
2. Junior Computer Programmer
No of posts: 17
Age: 28 years or below as on 1.1.2019
Educational Qualification: Essential: Master Degree in Computer Science or B.E./MCA from a recognized University
Desirable:
a) Work experience for minimum three years in Development and Designing software programmes
b) PG Degree of Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) in various courses will be an added advantage
3. Senior Hindi Translator

Age: 28 years or below as on 1.1.2019
Educational Qualification: Essential:
Master’s
Degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English or with English.
Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as a medium or examination at
degree level.
Or
Master’s degree of recognized University in any
subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi and English as
compulsory/elective subject or either of two as medium of examination
and the other as a compulsory/elective subject at degree level.
Or
Master’s
degree of recognized University in any subject other than Hindi/English
with Hindi/English medium and English/Hindi as compulsory/elective
subject or as a medium of examination at degree level and Recognized
Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice
versa in Central/State Govt. Offices including undertakings and
autonomous bodies of GOI
Or
Bachelor’s degree of a recognized
University with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subject or
other of the two as medium of examination and the other as
compulsory/elective subject plus a recognized diploma/certificate course
of translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years
experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in
Central Govt. Offices including Govt. of India Undertaking.

4. Assistant

6. Stenographer Grade-II

Educational Qualification: Essential:
a) 12th Class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University
b)
Skill Test Norms: Dictation: 10 mts @80wpm; Transcription: 65mts (Eng),
75mts (Hindi) on manual typewriter or 50 mts (Eng.), 65 mts (Hindi) on
computer
c) Equivalent speed of 100/80 wpm in English & Hindi stenography and 40/25 wpm in typewriting in English & Hindi
d) Working knowledge of computer

7. Computer Operator

b) Should posses a speed of not less than 8000 key depression per hour for Data Entry work
c) One year certificate course in computer from a recognized Institute
8. Accounts Clerk cum Typist

Educational Qualification: Essential:
a) B.Com of a recognized university or
b) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with 2 year experience in Accounts work
c) Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi.
d) Knowledge of Computer application

Experience of two years as National Service Volunteer (NSV)/ Rashtriya
Sadbhavana Yojana (RSY) Volunteer or National Youth Corps (NYC)

9. Lower Division Clerk

A Typing Speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi on manual
typewriter or a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on
Computer (35 wpm and 30 wpm correspond to 10500 key depressions/9000 key
depressions on average of 5 key depressions of each word)
10. Multi Tasking Staff

Age: Between 18-25 years of age – As on closing date of application
Educational Qualification:
Essential: Matriculation or equivalent
Desirable:
a) Worked as NSV/RSY/NYC for a minimum period of one year.
b) “Training in Basic and Refresher course in Home Guard and Civil defense”
Selection Process:
a) Candidates applying for the post of AD/DYC will have to appear for Online Written exam and Personal Interview.

Candidates applying for the post of Jr. Computer Programmer will have
to appear for Online Written exam, Skill Test and Personal Interview.
c)
Candidates applying for the post of Sr. Hindi Translator will have to

e) Candidates applying for the post of Librarian will have to appear for Online Written exam and Personal Interview.

appear for Online Written exam and Skill Test (Typing/Stenography) and
Personal Interview.
g) Candidates applying for the post of Computer Operator will have to appear for Online Written exam and Skill Test (Typing).

Examination Fee of Rs. 700/- for General & OBC (Male) Rs. 350/- for
General & OBC (Female). No examination fee for SC/ST/PwD/ESM
candidates. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards
