Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar, Deemed to be University, is a Centrally Funded Technical Institute under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India conducting Diploma, UG, PG & Ph.D Programmes. Applications are invited from the suitable Indian Nationals & eligible candidates various vacant posts of Non-Teaching on regular basis:
Group-A
1. Deputy Registrar
No of posts: 2
Educational Qualification:
Masters degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks
or its equivalent Grade of B in the UGC seven points scale and
consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations.
2. Executive Engineer
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
i)
A Masters Degree or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical/ Civil
Engineering) from a recognized university/ Institute with at least 55%
marks in the qualifying degree.
ii) At least 05 years relevant
experience at the level of Assistant Engineer/ Executive Engineer in the
PB-3 and Grade Pay/ Pay Matrix of Rs.5400/- from CPWD/ PWD or similar
organized services/ semi govt./ PSU/ Statutory or autonomous
organization/ universities/ reputed institutes/ organizations under
central/ state govt.
OR
i) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the
Engineering (Electrical/ Civil Engineering) from a recognized
University/ Institute with at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree.
ii)
At least 7 years’ experience in relevant field at the level of
Assistant Executive Engineer in PB-3 and Grade Pay/ Pay Matrix of
Rs.5400/- from CPWD/ PWD or similar organized services/ semi govt./ PSU/
Statutory or autonomous organization/ universities/ reputed institutes/
organizations under central/ state govt.
iii) Experience in handling construction and construction management related software, like computer-aided Design (CAD) etc.
3. Medical Officer
No of posts: 2
Educational Qualification: M.D. or M.S. in an appropriate branch of Medicine.
OR
Postgraduate Diploma in an appropriate branch of Medicine plus at least one year experience in a recognized hospital.
OR
M.B.B.S. including completion of compulsory rotatory internship by at least 03 years experience in a recognized hospital.
Group-B
4. Section Officer
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s
Degree in any discipline from recognized university with 5 years’
administrative experience as Jr. Superintendent / Office
Superintendent/PS or equivalent in the Grade Pay: Rs.4200/- in Central
Govt./ State Govt./ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings or
Master Degree in any discipline from recognized university with 02
years’ administrative experience or similar works in the Grade Pay/ Pay
Matrix of Rs.4200/- or equivalent in Central Govt./ State Govt./
Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings.
5. Security Officer
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
i)
Bachelor degree from a recognized University / Institute with 5 years’
experience in supervising position in Army / Central Paramilitary Forces
in Govt. organization / Educational / Private Organization.
ii)
Preferences will be given to the persons who have served in the Army /
Central Paramilitary Forces or such arm forced services and possessing a
valid Arms license.

6. Office/Jr. Superintendent

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized university with 3
years’ experience as Senior Assistant or equivalent in the Grade Pay:
Rs.2400/- or Master Degree in any discipline from recognized university
with 02 years’ experience or in the Grade Pay: Rs.2400/- in Central
Govt./ State Govt./ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings.
7. Accountant
No of posts: 2
Educational Qualification:
i)B.Com.
or equivalent qualification from recognized university with 05 years’
experience as Junior Accountant or equivalent in the Grade Pay/ Pay
Matrix of Rs.2800/- in Central Govt./ State Govt./ Autonomous Bodies/
Public Sector Undertakings.
OR
M.Com. or equivalent qualification
from a recognized university with 02 year experience as Junior
Accountant or equivalent in the Grade Pay/ Pay Sector Matrix of
Rs.2800/- in the Central Govt./ State Govt./ Autonomous Bodies/ Public
Undertakings.
ii) Knowledge of Accounting Software like Tally, Pay Roll Accounting, e-TDS.
iii)
Proficiency in typing in English/ Hindi on computer, and also in the
use of a variety of computer office applications, M.S. Word, Excel,
Power-Point or equivalent is a must.
8. Nurse
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
i)
Intermediate (10+2 with Science) or equivalent and must have passed the
examination held by the Nursing Council with 3 years course in General
Nursing and Mid-wifery with at least 55% marks from a recognized Board/
Institute.
ii) Registered as A-grade Nurse with Nursing Council.
iii) At least 03 years of relevant experience in a hospital.
9. Jr. Technical Superintendent (Chemistry)
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification: A
Master Degree in Engineering/ Science/ Computer Science or equivalent
qualification in appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the
qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with one year
relevant experience.
OR
A Bachelor Degree (four years) in
Engineering or equivalent qualification in appropriate field with a
minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized
University/ Institute with two year relevant experience.
OR
Three
years Diploma in Engineering/ Applied Science or equivalent in
appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree
from a recognized University/ Institute with three years relevant
experience.
Group-C
10. Store Keeper
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
Any graduate or equivalent from a recognized University with 3 years in
the Sr. Assistant having Knowledge of Tendering Process &
Evaluation/ Store & purchase/ in the Grade Pay/ Pay Matrix of
Rs.2400.
11. Pharmacist
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
i)
Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma) from a recognized University/ Institute
with at least 55% marks plus 02 years of relevant experience.
OR
Three
years Diploma (after 10+2) in Pharmacy from a recognized University/
Institute with at least 55% marks plus 03 years of relevant experience.
ii) Should be registered as a ‘Pharmacist’ under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
12. Lab Assistant
No of posts: 2
Educational Qualification:
A Bachelor Degree (four years) in Engineering (in CSE/IT/Electrical) or
equivalent qualification in appropriate field with a minimum of 55%
marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute
with two year relevant experience.
OR
Three years Diploma in
Engineering/Applied Science (in CSE/IT/Electrical) or equivalent in
appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree
from a recognized University/ Institute with three years relevant
experience.
13. Sr. Assistant
No of posts: 4
Educational Qualification: A
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized university with 07
years’ experience in regular service or equivalent, out of which, at
least two years works experience in the Grade Pay/Pay Matrix of
Rs.2000/- in Central Govt./State Govt./ Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector
Undertakings.
14. Junior Assistant
No of posts: 5
Educational Qualification:
i) A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized university.
ii) Proficiency in use of variety of computer office applications, M.S. Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent is a must.
iii) Having typing speed of 40/ 35 w.p.m. in English and Hindi respectively on computer.
Application Fee: The
prescribed application fee is Rs. 500.00 for General & OBC
Candidates and Rs. 150.00 for SC/ST (on submission of supporting
Certificate) payable in the form of Bank Draft.
(a) The Bank Draft shall be drawn in favour of “CIT Kokrajhar” payable at Kokrajhar.
(b)
Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) are fully exempted from payment of the
prescribed fees upon submission of relevant Disability Certificate,
issued by the Competent Authority.
How to apply: The
Application Form shall not be supplied on postal request. The candidates
are advised to download the same from CIT Kokrajhar website
www.cit.ac.in only in A-4 size paper.
