Recruitment of Lecturer (Technical) in the Government Polytechnics of Assam, 80 Posts
Assam Engineering Service Recruitment Board (AESRB) invites online application in the website https://www.aesrb.in from the permanent residents of Assam having Indian Citizenship as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and having requisite qualification for recruitment to the posts of Lecturers in the Polytechnics under the Higher Education (Technical) Department, Government of Assam, as indicated below:
1.Name of posts: Lecturer (Technical) in the Government Polytechnics of Assam
2.Number of posts: 80 No. of Posts of Lecturers in different Branches
Qualification:
i.The basic qualification is B.E. or B. Tech or B.S. in relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
ii.A relaxation of 5% in marks may be provided at the Graduate and Master’s level for the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently-abled) categories for the purpose of eligibility. The 5% relaxation will not include any grace.
Scale of Pay: Rs.56,100 – Rs.1,77,500 plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.
Age: The candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2022
How to Apply:
i.Candidates shall apply through the on-line process of application provided in the website of the ASERB, http://recruitment.aesrb.in. No other means/ mode of application shall be accepted by the Board.
ii.Intending applicants may visit the website of the Board to fill up the on-line form and upload scanned copies of requisite documents, certificates, latest passport size photo etc.
iii.Applicants shall also pay application fees of Rs.250.00 (For General candidates) and Rs.150.00 (For SC/ST/OBC candidates) through the payment gateway provided in the on-line portal of application as per Govt. Notification No.FEG.32/2016/12 dated 21st May, 2018.
iv.After the application is ‘submitted’ in the on-line system, the applicant shall take out a printout. Short listed candidates shall have to bring this printout along with other original documents at the time of interview.
v.Only duly submitted on-line applications accompanied by uploading of requisite particulars as prescribed in the Board’s website shall be considered. Short listed candidates shall be called for a personal interview as decided by the Board.
vi.In case of detection of any false declaration/ statement made by any applicant, his/her application will be rejected and will also be penalized as per Rules/Law.
vii.The last date of submission of application in the on-line portal of the AESRB website is 25-06-2022 up to 5:00 pm.
