NIELIT Guwahati is commencing two formal courses BCA & MSc-Compuer Sc from the academic session 2020-2021. Both the courses are affiliated to Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU)
Admission Notice for BCA and M.Sc. (Computer Science) courses
1.Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) # 3 years full time
course (40 seats)
Eligibility:10+2 passed in Science/ Arts/ Commerce with a minimum of 45% in aggregate (40% for reserved category) preferably with Computer Science/ Mathematics as a subject in 10+2 or Diploma Engineering from AICTE recognised institute.
2.Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science # 2 years full time
course (20 seats)
Eligibility:Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (B.Sc CS/IT) or Bachelor degree in Computer Application (BCA) or Bachelor degree in Science with Mathematics as one of the subject in 10+2 or in degree level or 4 years Bachelor degree in Engineering / Technology(BE/B.Tech.) or DOEACC ‘A’ level course after passing Bachelor degree/ B.Sc. with PGDCA (Minimum eligibility marks to take admission will be 50% (45% for reserved category)or equivalent grade in a point scale whenever grading system is followed.

Date of Admission for candidates in Merit list (availability of seats and date for admission for waitlisted candidates will be notified through website) :31 Aug20[10AM] to 2 Sept’(5PM)
Classes to be commenced from (Online or offline mode following Govt COVID -19 protocols) : 10 Sept’20
