Pay and age
Initial pay: ₹57,700–1,82,400 (Level 10 of the Pay Matrix, 7th Pay Commission).
Upper age limit: 38 years as on the last date of application. Permanent in-service candidates at AAU/ICAR/CSIR/DST/SAUs and other government institutions get relaxation equal to their full years of service, up to a maximum of 5 years, on production of supporting documents.
