Walk-in interviews for the following positions under the DBT, GoI funded Tea Network Projects under DBT-NER-TEA programme will be held in the premises of DBT-NECAB as per the date and time mentioned below. Applications are invited from interested candidates having requisite qualifications. Their complete Curriculum Vitae along with all the relevant details including contact details, pass certificates, mark-sheets (from HSLC onwards), previous employment records, list of publications and other testimonials must be mailed at dbt.aau@gmail.com by 09.08.2024 mentioning the title of the project and the post for which the applicant is applying for. The shortlisted candidates will be informed prior to 2 days from the date of interview.

Date of Interview: 12.08.2024
Time: 10:30 AM onwards

1.Research Associate III: 1 (One) Position
EQ: Ph D in Agricultural Biotechnology /Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Tea Husbandry & Technology / Any Branch of Life Sciences with 2 years of experience in relevant field and outstanding academic record and proven ability of high R & D work.
Desirable: Experience in statistical analysis software packages
Salary: Rs.67,000/-+ 8% HRA

2.Junior Research Fellow: 1 (One) Position
EQ:M.Sc. (Agri)/M.Tech/M.Sc. in Plant Breeding and Genetics/Biotechnology/ Tea Husbandry & Technology/ Life Sciences with qualified in any of the following: NET, GATE, BET, BINC or any other selection processes through National Level Examinations conducted by Central Govt. Dept. and their Agencies and Institutions.
Desirable: Experience of working in laboratory with DNA marker and other related works oriented to crop improvement.
Salary: Rs.37,000/-+ 8 % HRA

3.Project AssociateII: 1 (One) Position
EQ:Ph D in Agricultural Biotechnology / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Plant Breeding and Genetics / Any Branch of Life Sciences with specialization in molecular breeding and outstanding academic record and proven ability of high R & D work.
Or Master’s degree in the relevant subject with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship / Training / other engagements and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/NAAS rated (> 4.0).
Desirable: Experience in genomics/statistical genomics and shall be given preference
