Re advertise for submission of application by fresh candidates as well as resubmission of fresh option by the existing applicant if desired who filled up application as per earlier notification dated 5.8.19 as per revised criteria of local language studied upto class X.
Applications are invited by the respective recruiting authorities as shown in the annexure ‘I’ against each post, from eligible candidates for the selection and engagement to the following posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks.
1.BRANCH POSTMASTER (BPM)
2.ASSISTANT BRANCH POSTMASTER (ABPM)
3.DAK SEVAK
The minimum and maximum of age for the purpose of engagement to GDS posts shall be 18 and 40 years respectively as on 05.08.2019 the date of notification of the vacancies
Educational Qualification:
Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of Gramin Dak Sevaks.(Referred to in Directorate Order No 17-31/2016-GDS dated 25.06.2018). The Candidate passed Xth class examination in first attempt will be treated as meritorious against those passed compartmentally.
Steps to Apply:
Only online application will be accepted from the candidate. Candidate who desires to apply online will have to register himself / herself in the portal through https://indiapost.gov.in or http://appost.in/gdsonline with effect from 27.01.2020 to 09.02.2020
Stage 1.Registration Initially candidate has to register in the Registration module once per cycle and obtain unique registration number
Stage 2.Fee Payment UR/OBC/EWS Male need to make fee payment. Offline payments can be made at any Head Post Office.
Stage 3.Apply Online Step 1.Fill Application. Step 2. Upload documents. Step 3.Submit Post preferences. Preview and take print out.Completion of these three steps will only be treated as submission of application.
