Directorate of Secondary Education Vacancy for 133 posts of Junior Assistant & Statistical Assistant

online applications are invited for the following Grade III posts as shown below under the establishment of the Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam which will be available at the official website of Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam (www.madhyamik.assam.gov.in) from 08.06.2020, 12.00 noon to 23.06.2020 till midnight.

1.Junior Assistant (Head Office): 20 posts
Pay:Rs. 14000 _ 60500 + GPay 6200
EQ: Bachelor degree
Computer skills for the post of Junior Assistant: Must possess 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer Application.

2.Junior Assistant ((District Level & Govt. School level): 99 posts
Pay:Rs. 14000 _ 60500 + GPay 5600
EQ: Bachelor degree
Computer skills for the post of Junior Assistant: Must possess 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer Application.

3.Statistical Assistant :14 posts
Pay:Rs. 14000 _ 60500 + GPay 7600
EQ: Bachelor degree with Statistics / Economics /Mathematics as one subject
Computer skills for the post of Junior Assistant: Must possess 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer Application.

Terms and conditions:

  1. Interested candidates shall have to fill up the online application forms available at the official website of Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam (www.madhyamik.assam.gov.in).
  2. Reservation of posts for woman candidates will be as per prevailing Govt. rules.
  3. Candidate should not be less than 18 (Eighteen) years and not above 38 (thirty Eight) years as on 01.01.2020. The upper age limit for different reserved categories is relaxable as per existing Govt. rules.
  4. The following documents in original will have to be produced at the time of document verification if called for and photocopies of all certificates etc are to be submitted:
    a. 2 (two) copies of passport size colour photograph which is uploaded during filling up of online application form.
    b. Admit card of HSLC or equivalent or birth certificate for age proof.
    c. All marks sheets and passed certificate.
    d. Caste certificate (where applicable)
    e. Person with Disability certificate.
    f. Permanent residence certificate.
  5. There will be OMR based examination for total 100 marks and one computer proficiency test with reference to writing ability for total 50 marks.
  6. Candidates are required to visit the website (www.madhyamik.assam.gov.in) regularly for any update.
