Applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates possessing the requisite educational qualifications, experience and other eligibility criteria as mentioned below for engagement to the following posts at the Assam State Space Application Centre (ASSAC), Bigyan Bhawan (3rd Floor), G.S. Road, Guwahati – 781005, on a purely contractual basis for a period of 6 (six) months.
1.Accounts Assistant (AA) : 1 post
Essential Qualification: Graduate in Commerce with Major in Accountancy from any UGC/AICTE-recognised/approved University/Institution or equivalent
Desirable Qualification / Knowledge: PGDCA from any recognised University/Institution. Working knowledge of Tally ERP, GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax Return filing, EPF, CPF, etc.
Experience: Minimum 1 year relevant experience in handling accounts-related activities, preferably in a Government Department / Autonomous Body / PSU / Organisation / Institution
2.Junior Field Assistant: 1 post
Essential Qualification:HSSLC (10+2) with ITI Certificate in Surveying (Surveyor Trade) or equivalent
Desirable Qualification / Knowledge: Knowledge in mapping, using GPS/GNSS tools, taking field measurements, reading maps, walking wetlands and capturing geotags
3.Junior Field Assistant: 1 post
Essential Qualification:HSSLC (10+2) with ITI Certificate in COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) or equivalent
Desirable Qualification / Knowledge: Knowledge in data entry, operating web portals, spreadsheets and usage of GIS software
Age: The candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2026.
Remuneration:
Post 1: ₹25,000/- per month plus CPF, as applicable.
Post 2 & 3: ₹18,000/- per month plus CPF, as applicable.
